I think these activities must be well planned, without consuming much time during working days. Max. 2 days should be alotted for gathering. If possible, it must be planned on holidays connected with weekly offs.
As per our previous experience, all other connected activities like sports, fun fare, etc. can be conducted after college working hours, on saturdays & sundays without disturbing regular college schedule.
I request organising commitee not to schedule gathering or sports activity during 26th to 30th Jan. 2009. Generally IIT Techfest is organised during this period.
I think that gathering should be there for this sem and next year it should be well planned in advance when gathering should be there
